According to His purpose

‘The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ… and God has put each part just where He wants it. In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary’ 1Cor.12:18b, 22.

For a lot of people, it is not news that God has a part for us all to play in His big picture.  The above scripture points out to us that even though we are part of one body, we have different and unique roles. Every one of us is fruit with seed in itself and God expects us to bear fruit. In God’s Favourite House, we say ‘every member a minister’ because we realize that God has blessed His people with abundant spiritual ability. What God has given to you, only you can bring to the table. Your role is so important that God has assigned a territory to you. Jesus’ only request from us was ‘to go into the world and preach the gospel to all nations‘. The Good news of Christ can also be preached by the way you embody His teachings, develop your gifts and be a light for God. Can God depend on you to take your world for Him? However, you do not decide your role. The bible states ‘according to HIS purpose’. You can discover it in God. He has a plan for each of us and God will release us into our destinies. God calls us His ‘glorious inheritance‘ what will He meet when He comes for you? Every destiny that has been put on hold, because you enter the presence of God, will be released. Where you have experienced road blocks, all of those doors will open and you will conquer for God.

Prayer: Father, I ask for the grace to function according to Your purpose. Thank Your for releasing me into the destiny You have called me into and please help me identify opportunities to take the world for Christ.
