Vessel Full!
Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, let the Holy Spirit fill and control you. Then you will sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, making music to the Lord in your hearts. Eph.5:18-19
Have you ever come across a jar that is filled with sugar half way and then filled with salt in the other half? The thought of this alone is displeasing. Your body is a vessel given to you by God. However, it is your choice what to fill it with. It is your choice whether to fill it with the Spirit of God unto life or wine. Just as the same jar cannot hold salt and sugar, oil and water in one so your vessel cannot be filled with the Spirit and with wine. When you are filled with the light of the Spirit of God, darkness cannot dwell in you at the same time. This is why you cannot even afford to defile yourself because it translates to altering the contents of your vessel. Lying is defiling your vessel because the father of all lies is satan. Applying the Word to your everyday practical life helps understanding. Your body is the temple of God. The presence of God is always in His temple. Does it make sense to take the temple into a night club, a gossiping session, or keep the temple awake at night watching pornography? If you can see things in this way it will help your consciousness. The only thing the temple is built for is worshipping God. ‘All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right’ 2 Tim.3:16. You are coming across this message because God wants to change you and take you to heights never before seen or heard. However, the change starts from you. You must have the tough discussion with yourself today. What are you going to fill your vessel with – Life or death? There is greatness in you and you will be released into your destiny, in the Name of Jesus.
Prayer: Thank You God for second chances and for Your Word. I choose to fill my vessel with Your truth and light.

Fill my cup Lord, i lift it up… fill me to overflowing
The scripture above says, “Then you will sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, making music to the Lord in your hearts”.
Its so amazing that it is after you have been filled with the Holy Spirit that you can be totally happy, that you can sing hymns and psalms to God and it will be accepted. I want to be filled to overflowing.
