Governed By His Principles

We all have questions such as why there are still people who do not get healed or experience breakthrough after healing and breakthrough services. One of the reasons is that you need to submit to God as the Sovereign God. If you understand the dynamics of the Sovereignty of God, you will realize that it is not to paralyze us. Look at it this way, God does not rule the earth through His Sovereignty. God rules the earth through His principles, His laws. Through His Sovereignty, He has decided that on earth everything that goes up will come down. He has decided also those who sow bountifully will reap bountifully, just to mention a few principles. Hence, the day to day operations of this earth are not governed by the Sovereignty of God but by the principles of God. Therefore, if you operate the principles God has laid before you, you will get the results. Sometimes God will suspend the principles so that He can reach you. For example, Jesus had lost track of time while praying and missed his boat trip. Jesus simply suspended the law of surface tension of water and He walked on the water. This is the sovereignty of God, ‘ALL power in the heavens, on earth and beneath the earth belongs to Him’. God can actually deploy His Sovereignty in your favour; in fact He will in Jesus Name. If you and I operate the principles of God, we will get the results. If it appears that the results are not coming we can lay hold on the Sovereignty of God. Mark 9:20-27, a man brought his child to Jesus and said ‘have mercy on us and help us, if you can’. Jesus replied to that man and is saying the same to you and I today, ‘anything is possible if a person believes’. In other words, the man was saying it all depends on your sovereignty Jesus. ‘I do believe but help me overcome my unbelief’. Jesus was saying and is still saying your faith has a part in your healing and your breakthrough.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I do believe but help me overcome my unbelief. Lord, deepen my faith today so that I will no longer miss out on fullness of joy in Your Presence, in Jesus Name.
