God’s Ways
‘My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the LORD. And My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine’ Isa.55:8.
‘My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the LORD. And My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine’. You cannot predict God’s ways but you can align with them. God will not work according to your timing but according to His purpose. We must constantly remind ourselves that God’s ways are not anything like ours. If we do this often, we will be free of disappointments and patient enough to wait on God. Then trust that He is working out all things for our good. ‘We can make our own plans, but the LORD gives the right answer’ Prov.16:1. The Lord gives the right answers – God can approve your plan but you must expect Him to do things in His own way. So you do not get frustrated and bitter when certain things don’t go the way you pray. It is madness to get angry at God at all. God’s answer can be ‘yes’, or ‘yes but wait’, or ‘yes but not like this’, or ‘not now, wait’, or ‘no’. God’s ways are not your ways – deal with it! God is not your servant you cannot boss the Alpha and Omega around. Isn’t it amazing how when people are working according to God’s plan and purpose they never complain? If you are currently complaining about His ways, then check your position, approach, heart, and your timing. If it will kill you, He won’t give you. When you align with His ways, even the mistakes you make along the way, He will rework for your good. This does not mean you start attributing every disappointment to God’s ways. God does not glory in you being disappointed. Do not let the enemy confuse you and cause you to question God’s promises or His Word. God said none shall lack her mate, you heard the Word when you were 23 and now you are 35. Wait, He never fails! If God can lay down His only Son, then what won’t He give us. Did God say it? Then wait for it because it shall surely come to pass. God is always on time [Ecc.3].
Prayer: Father, You are not man that You should lie. Please give me the grace to align with Your plans. I choose to trust You and believe the strength of your character and Words, in Jesus Name.
