‘After a period of glory, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies sent me against the nations who plundered you. For He said, “Anyone who harms you harms my most precious possession’ Zec.2:8.

‘I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for’ Jer.29:11[GNT]. You matter to God. And for this reason He will fight to protect you. ‘For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath He sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that touches you touches the apple of His eye’ Zec.2:8 [KJV]. God calls us the apple of His eye. It is dangerous to fall into the Hand of God. It is also very dangerous to help God beat His children. Be mindful who you speak against. Let everyone who speaks against you also take heed because your God is battle ready. You are God’s precious possession. No matter the condition of the eye, the body is designed to protect it and attack anyone who attacks it. You may not have your act together yet but God still sees you as the apple of His eyes. Any one that tries to poke at you, God takes a fighting position. God is positioned to speak against every nation, force or person that has plundered you. People will come into your life for different reasons. A lot of them have an agenda. When things do not go according to their plan, they will fight you. Some will abandon you. But God wants you to stay calm knowing that God alone knows the plans He has for your life. When people come into your life it is important to find out what God says about them. ‘I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for’ Jer.29:11 [MSG]. It is extremely comforting to hear God say that He knows what He is doing and He has it all planned out. Whenever the enemy tries to tell you that you do not matter say the devil is a lair. You matter. God alone determines your relevance and He is saying to you today – You Matter. Forget about the people and nations that war against you and hinge your life on Jesus Christ. It is only then that you have the guarantee of the future you hope for.

Prayer: Father, thank You for being so protective over my life and the future You have planned for me. I choose to hinge my tomorrows on Jesus Christ, in Jesus Name.
