Men’s View vs God’s View III

‘Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it’ Ps.139:14

David knew God’s opinion about him and because he believed it so strongly, he was able to rise above the box of the opinion of men. When God sent Samuel to anoint a king in the house of Jesse, because of the opinion his family had of him, David was not presented at all. However, God’s view is far reaching and it brought him out of the field into the place of glory. When it came to defeating Goliath, David did not allow his brothers opinion about him limit him [1 Sam.17:28-29]. When people’s opinions attempt to put you in a box, you have to break free because you know what God says about you. And when David came face to face with Goliath, the victory he won was not based on who people said he was but on what God had done for him in the past. You cannot afford to forget what God has done in the past. In your life, God has set a record of the faithful provider. So what if people think you are a failure? What matters is not what they think but what you know based on what God has done in the past. David remembered the imprint of the Maker in him and that was what he used to defeat Goliath. You will defeat all your goliaths. At every point when you are in need, God’s blueprint for your life will rise up and give you victory. You must be secure in who God has made you to be and what God has told you about His plans for you. There are times when you will come face to face with opposition; you need to remember who you are and whose you are. You need to keep in constant remembrance what God has told you. People will be malicious but that is not reason enough for you to enter into a confrontation. Instead express your gratitude to God because you know that He that has done it for them will do it for you too. And so shall it be in Jesus Name. Everyone trusting God for a life partner you will get married, you will marry the bone of your bone and the flesh of your flesh. The one that will give you joy and peace. Remember who you are and whose you are.
