For The Glory Of God

‘But give great joy to those who have stood with me in my defense. Let them continually say, “Great is the LORD, who enjoys helping his servant Psalm:35:27.

God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His people. God wants to bless us. He rejoices in granting our hearts desires in accordance to His will. For the woman waiting for the fruit of the womb, the Lord rejoices to see you pregnant. For the unmarried, God rejoices to see you with your spouse. For the unemployed, God rejoices in your employment. For the hungry, God rejoices to feed you. It excites God to help us. Why? Because barriers broken, deliverances wrought, prayers answered and help rendered all bring glory to Him. Isa.43:7 says:  ‘Even every one that is called by My name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him’. This brings us to the question; What is God’s glory? There are many indicators to the glory of God. Today we will explore seven of them.

  • God’s glory is the essence of His nature. When God’s glory is revealed in man, the nature of God is manifested in him. He obtains acceleration in areas where he once struggled.
  • God’s glory is the weight of His importance.
  • God’s glory is the radiance of His splendor.
  • God’s glory is the demonstration of His power.
  • The atmosphere of His presence.
  • The revelation of His person.
  • The testimony of His greatness.

At times because of our past experiences, we are inclined to doubt God’s presence in our lives. That God is silent does not mean He is absent. We need to keep persisting till we break forth, for He must be glorified in our lives. God has stakes in your needs because you are a direct reflection of the King. You are His child and He delights in giving you gifts.

Prayer:  Father, let Your glory be on display in every aspect of my life. The fullness of Your splendor, power, greatness, presence, person and Your nature, in Jesus Name.
