‘Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee’ Jeremiah32:17 [KJV].

How big is God really? Our minds really cannot phantom. What exactly can He do? Nobody knows. We know that there is nothing impossible with God. But there are a few numbers in nature that could help us out. There are currently about 7 billion people on earth. And science tells us that the earth can hold about 30,000 billion people. It will take about 1.3 million Earths to fill up our star, the Sun. The Sun resides in the Milky Way galaxy, which is so wide that it takes light (which travels 9460 billion km in 1 year), 100,000 years to travel from one end of it to another. This Milky Way galaxy is also host to 200-400 billion stars. Our Sun is just ‘one’ of these stars. There is estimated to be about 500 billion galaxies in the ‘observable universe’. Our Milky Way galaxy is just “one”. It is estimated that this observable universe contains about 300 sextillion (30,000,000 billion stars). It takes about 46 billion years for light to travel from the edge of our observable universe to earth. That means the light radiating from that part of the universe started its journey 46 billion years ago to be able to reach us now. ‘And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?’ [Mark 8:36]. One human soul is so big, that the entire universe cannot fill it, Only God can. These are the visible things. God has created both the visible and invisible worlds. There are more stars than there are people. If God were to distribute the stars amongst people, each person will get over 4 million stars. ‘He counts the stars and calls them all by name Ps.147:4. To know the unique names of 300 sextillion stars is no small act.  Why then do we compete for resources with ourselves? Why then do we think that our neighbor must be demoted before we can be promoted? Why then do we think God is not capable of solving our problems? On this earth, the precious stones are found in the ground. God has created all this, why do you feel He cannot deliver you? God is able; more than able.

Prayer: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like Thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? I worship You, the God of the Heavens and the earth, in Jesus Name.
