How to be Spiritually Rich IV
‘The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said, ‘Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more’ Matt.25:20.
Lesson 3: Be deliberate. Spiritually rich people are committed to be being spiritually rich and it is truly amazing. The same thing plays out with physically rich people. The people who are financially rich are committed to being financially rich. The people that are spiritually poor on the other hand wish that one day they would be spiritually rich. Same thing with people that are financially poor, they wish that one day they would be financially rich [one day–one day]. Which category are you in? You are the only one that can tell. Yet I am praying that you will shift today if you are not in the right category in the Name of Jesus. The rich, spiritual or financial, are committed to being wealthy. The poor, spiritual or financial, like the idea of being wealthy and they wish that one day they would be wealthy. They have been wishing from when they were 15yrs old, 20yrs old, 30yrs old, 40yrs old, and now they are 50yrs old and they are still wishing that one day they would be wealthy. The financially rich people are not like that, they deliberately evaluate what it will take, what courses they need to go for, or what opportunities they need to leverage. The spiritually wealthy are like that also, constantly striving to take their spiritual walk to the next level, weighing what it will take, and committing to what ever it takes. The spiritually rich are constantly looking for spiritual growth classes that will help them connect to the vision of the church. The spiritually poor are not looking for that at all. I know some of you are uncomfortable. This truth is supposed to make you uncomfortable. It is deliberate also to bring about change and propel you to take the steps that are required. Why, because if you continue the way you are going you will keep getting the same results you are getting. You need to break out of that mold. The servant chose to trade with the talents he was given. It was deliberate. For you to be rich in marriage, you have to be deliberate. Deliberately make your marriage rich; it is in your hands. Deliberately make it work.
Prayer: Father, open my eyes to see the areas of my life that I need to be deliberate in so as to become spiritually wealthy, in Jesus Name.
