Fearless

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline2 Tim.1:7

The first secret or attribute of the eagle that God wants us to imbibe is that the eagle is fearless. The eagle has absolutely no fear of its prey regardless of its size. This is how God wants us to be – fearless. God’s Spirit is not the spirit of fear. Research results from some Bible scholars indicates that the word ‘fear not’ occurs 365 times in the Bible. God wants us to be fearless regardless of what is before us [promotion, a job interview, or a marriage]. Battling fear has become a major prayer point for some but God’s word to you today is be fearless. The eagle is not only fearless towards its prey but it also exhibits the same attitude towards attacks on its young. Approaching the nest of an eagle means being prepared for battle because the eagle will fight you with everything it has. In applying this to us, God wants you to fight fearlessly and viciously against anything or anyone who attacks your biological and spiritual children.

I once had one of my spiritual daughters complain to me that she had been called a witch by her mother in-law’s prophet. She was to be sent away even after having three children. The first thing I did was to check with God if she was blameless. As soon as I got clearance I sent a message that the prophet be brought to me even if it means paying for his transportation. Why? Because I cannot sit back and watch anyone harass my people, I will fight the person. The man refused to come so I decreed that that December will not pass without us knowing if he had spoken of God or not. The report that came back to me was that the man almost died that December and is now limping. Like David, how you tackle the attack on your sheep is the mark of a true Shepherd. Every true Shepherd will risk his life for the sheep and win because God will always back you up. It is a spiritual principle. Never again be afraid of man. It is an insult on your God. Why should anybody want to call the shots in your life, it shows you are a chicken and not an eagle but today there will be a transformation in Jesus Name. Be fearless.

Prayer: I have not received the spirit of fear but the Spirit of the Living God. I am fearless and will fight to protect those that God has given me, in Jesus Name
