Qualify Your Relationships II

‘Then the other administrators and high officers began searching for some fault in the way Daniel was handling government affairs, but they couldn’t find anything to criticize or condemn…’ Dan.6:4

Today we will examine the remaining two relationship categories.

Comrades are not necessarily for you, they are not for what you are for, but rather they are against what you are against. It is the common enemy that has drawn them to you. If you erroneously take your comrade and make them your constituent or confidant you are going to run into problems. For instance in the marriage relationship, you should be married to your confidant, the person that is for you. A lot of people need to understand that if you are married to your comrade what has drawn the person to you is the common enemy. Lets take for instance that it’s your common enemy poverty that drew both of you together and the closeness led to marriage. As soon as God begins to open doors, the common enemy is gone because poverty is no longer an issue. In the absence of the common enemy, the couple would face themselves. The truth is that they were only fired up by the presence of a common enemy. If you have married your comrade or your constituent, I am praying that the Holy Spirit will cause there to be a metamorphosis beginning today. Our God is a God of miracles; you need to ask God for a miracle.

Conspirators are not for you, they are not for what you are for, but they are for what you are against. The conspirator may be part of your constituent initially but the moment you are saying things that do not benefit them they change their position and become your conspirator. Every one has conspirators. The fact that you are nice to everyone will not change that. There are people that will betray you. Jesus was betrayed and He says ‘if I am your master and I was betrayed, what do you think will happen to you?’ Jesus had a conspirator – Judas Iscariot. Judas is your classic example. He has with Jesus all along but the day the woman came and broke the alabaster box of ointment, the Bible says that ‘from that day Judas sort how to sell Jesus’. You need to qualify the people around you.

Prayer: Precious Jesus, I ask for the grace to discern accurately and group suitably the people around me. Lead me Lord, as I grow relational roots daily, in Jesus Name
