Hallelujah
‘Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory’ 1 Cor.2:8 [KJV]
Hallelujah is embracing limitations in order to be truly free. Hallelujah is looking foolish in order to actually gain wisdom. Hallelujah is the willingness to concede a loss in order to gain the ultimate victory. That was what God did with Calvary. God was willing to give up one so that He might gain many. The
enemy thought he had Jesus; it was a gambit that he should never have fallen for. ‘Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory’. If the enemy had known that killing Jesus would be the total destruction of him, he would not have killed Jesus. He would have protected Jesus and kept Him alive. But he didn’t have a clue. That is the height of hallelujah disguised right there in Jesus going to the grave. Everyone thought it was over, the demons were rejoicing throwing their parties in hell. Everyone was dancing and rejoicing in hell but then they began to hear footsteps. And the whole party fell silent; this was on the resurrection morning. And satan said to one of the demons go and check who is there and he came back and he said ‘you have to see this’. So the whole party in hell ran to the gate and behold Jesus was standing there alive and well. And a voice from heaven commanded the gates ‘Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.’ And they answered back ‘Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in’. By this time they were trembling all over with some falling on the ground ‘Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory’. At this time, the gate blasted open. Jesus bruised satan’s head and collected the keys to death and hell [Gen.3:15] and delivered the righteous saints that were held captive. And he led captivity captive and led a train to heaven. Jesus conquered because God was willing to concede loss.
Prayer [song]: ‘Thank You O my Father for giving us Your Son and leaving Your Spirit till Your work on earth is done’. Thank You Jesus for the cross, in Jesus Name
