You Will Excel

‘Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise; Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; Your father’s children shall bow down before you’ Gen.49:8 [NKJV]

Today’s word is a declaration over our destinies so I need you to take it very personally. God’s word for you today is ‘you will excel’ [you will prosper]. It is important for you to receive this word and take it personally. Declare it over yourself, calling your name out loud ‘…I will excel’. Read Gen.49:1-4 & 8-10 [NKJV]. What plays out in this portion of scripture is the dynamics of blessings and curses. For you to go far in life you must understand the dynamics of blessings and curses. You must leverage on blessings so that you will gain acceleration. And conquer curses so that you will not decelerate. A blessing is simply an utterance that evokes supernatural powers to aid someone. While people like to equate physical gifts to blessing, the type of blessing referred to here is not physical. A blessing is what is spoken over you that evokes heaven and releases supernatural powers in your favor. A curse is the opposite its also spoken and it attempts to evoke negative supernatural powers to work against the person that is being cursed. ‘Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground’ Gen.1:28. So to really gain momentum in life is not by power, you need blessings to rest upon what you do. And you need to break curses from depleting the things you have acquired. Some people acquire stuff and it is as if, like the Bible says, they are putting money in a bag of holes. In other words if they sum up all that God has blessed them with they cannot account for where the blessings are. Such curses will be broken today in the Name of Jesus. Blessings add but curses deplete. As parents, ensure that you pronounce blessings over your children every day. As couples, pronounce blessings over your spouses daily. And if you are single, pronounce blessings over yourself daily. Pronounce blessings over your job or your business, over your ministry. And watch heaven act on your behalf.

Prayer: I declare that I am fruitful in my body, fruitful in my mind, fruitful in my job. Everything I lay my hands to do will yield much fruit, in Jesus Name.
