God’s Truth I

‘All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work’ 2 Tim.3:16-17.

We can never thank God enough for the gift of His Word. God inspires all scripture and it’s useful to teach us what is true. To make us realize what is wrong with our lives so that we can make corrections. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. You can rely on God’s Word for clarification on any and every subject. Today we will be treating a question that is bothering a lot of people in today’s world. Are people born homosexuals? There is a current trend in the world today that some people are born homosexuals that is just the way God made them so we should accept them as they are. Unfortunately the more vocal group of people becomes the standard and whatever is predominant in the media eventually becomes norm in culture. As Christians we need to go back to the Word of God and find out what the Bible says about this. ‘They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved’ Rom.1:25-27. To answer the question, no people are not born homosexuals – gay. The word gay actually means to be merry, to be happy. Sadly the word has been colonized by a small group of people and they are making all of us run away from the word. Check your dictionary, at least as far as I know the definition for the word gay has not changed. So let us call it what it is which is homosexuality and not color the truth. ‘So, God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them’ Gen.1:27. God is not confused, God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Prayer: Father, I thank You because the entrance of Your Word actually brings light and truth to all situations. Let Your truth define me, in Jesus Name.
