Take Your Stand!

 ‘When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak of his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future’ John 16:13

‘But Micaiah replied, “As surely as the Lord lives, I will say only what the Lord tells me to say’ 1 kings 22:14. The people around you cannot continue in sin and yet you are telling them that all will be well with them. There is definitely something wrong with that. Who do you want to please –God or people? I want to please God! You need to take your stand today because people will come to you offering you all sorts of things just so that you can doctor the truth for their own comfort. He that will speak for God must be comfortable with not being popular with men. If you must speak for God then forget about people liking you. Every Christian is supposed to speak for God, speaking for God means speaking only truth. ‘And all nations will hate you because you are my followers. But everyone who endures to the end will be saved’ Matt.10:22. Yet the good news is regardless of what you go through, as long as God is on your side, you are going to come out on top. Please read 1 Kings 22. The king of Israel tried to manipulate things to suit his purpose but one of the archers of the enemy fired a random arrow into the camp and the arrow killed him. The Word of God WILL come to pass even if it means heaven and earth shifting. They fed that prophet with the water and the bread of affliction but at the end of the day that king was no more and the prophet lived on. Inspite of the persecution you are going through, know this, you will look for everyone instrumental to your affliction and you will not find them but you will still be standing. The king came to the lion’s den in the morning to find out if God had been able to save him; and Daniel said ‘because innocence was found in me, my God has sent His angels and has shut the mouth of the lions’. So the king promoted Daniel and killed his accusers. This will be the story of your accusers in Jesus Name. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego took a stand for God and God showed up for them. By the time God is through with you, it will be said that there is no God that can deliver like this.

Prayer: Father, let the heavens and the earth bear me witness today; I take a stand for the Most High God and for Jesus Christ and so shall it be, in Jesus Name.
