Read The Bible!

‘And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ’ Eph.5:21

How many of us would agree with this statement, ‘the man is not the head of the woman!’ Not many men would agree, in fact some men get really upset when you bring up topics like this. Yet the truth is that the man is not the head of the woman. It is in the Bible [Eph.5:22]. Yes, the husband is the head of his wife but every man is not the head of every woman. Haven’t you noticed that you are not the head of my wife?

Unfortunately, when you put a man and a woman on the same project, even though the woman is more gifted, more intuitive, more discerning the man feels he should be the leader because he is a man. This is not right. If she is your wife then you can do that in your house. But when at work together, she can be your leader and you will have to submit to her in the church. I am in no way trying to create confusion; just read the Bible. If you even understand how God made our physical bodies you will understand that there is no need for competition. The head will starve to death if the leg refuses to move it to where food is. If you know how the body works – it is for functionality and not for vain glory. When you seek it for vain glory then you will have an issue with it. When God says ‘wives submit to your own husbands’, it means exactly that. When I was in paid employment, I saw this play out repeatedly. The man just feels because he is a man, he is in charge of the project. Or the woman that actually has been designated to lead the project begins to step back for the man to take the lead. You need to know that you are made in the image of God. You have been gifted to do what God has called you to do and nobody else can do it but you.

On what day was Eve made? She was made on the sixth day just like Adam but Eve was given a body after the seventh day. So where was Eve all along? Inside Adam! A lot of men complain that their wives are not what they want them to be. That person you want is still inside you. What you should do to bring her out is to speak her forth. Jesus did the same thing with the Church by speaking affirmatively into her. Stop fighting with your wife, nothing is wrong with her. Instead change your strategy.
