A Plan

You’re the one I was looking for!
I came out to find you, and here you are!’ Prov.7:15

If a man is deceived it is largely based on seduction. When he has been seduced then he can be deceived. The problem with flirting and seduction is that it always starts innocently. Some men actually tell their wives that they have nothing to do with other women but they just like flirting with them. You have to stop it. Flirting intoxicates like a drug. And anything that intoxicates seeks to control. It always starts small, then it grows, and before you know it, you are in the pit. You think ; just a little and you would be content. It is a lie! Except Jesus intervenes a lot of people get sucked into that deception. Over the next few days we will be learning four things from Proverbs 7 about the person being seduced and the seducer.  The first thing is that the seducer has a plan. I have seen people that are victims of seduction and the number one reason is that they don’t imagine that the other person has a plan. They think they are both just flowing with it. The woman said You’re the one I was looking for!
I came out to find you, and here you are! In other words, she had been planning for him. The truth is that he that doesn’t have a plan will always succumb to he that has a plan in anything – business, professional career, or in warfare. He that has a plan will always prevail over he that doesn’t have a plan. So if your colleague is flirting with you, he/she has a plan. Sadly, you don’t have a plan all you know is that he/she makes you feel good and you like hanging out with him/her. You will succumb to him/her if you do not have a plan. He that doesn’t have a plan will always succumb to he that has a plan. Do you have an anti-seduction strategy? I have one and I am going to share some with you. I believe everyone who will be great should have one. You should have a plan ready. You don’t think up a plan at the point of temptation. At that point it is almost too late. You have a plan ready so that when seduction comes you are ready. Everyone that has succeeded in this walk with God has had or always has an anti-seduction plan.

Prayer: Father, teach me to build a refuge around myself and my spouse. Let Your Word be a guard over my heart, in Jesus Name.
