On A Mission

‘There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need’ Acts 4:34-35

On the website called “Global rich list’, if you earn fifty thousand naira a month you are in the top 14.63% richest people in the world. Let me just break this down with this illustration. If your child is in a class of a hundred students and he comes in at the 15^th position will you punish him? I don’t think so. Pay attention to all the things you need to be thankful for. If you ask me, I’d say that’s just about everything. If you earn a hundred thousand a month you are in the top 13% richest people in the world. If you earn half a million a month you are in the top 3.54% richest people in the world. And you can open your mouth and say that God has not been good to you? May God not slap that mouth, in Jesus Name. If you earn a million naira every month, you are in the top 0.8% richest people in the world. I know there are people reading this who earn way more than a million a month. The key thing here is that you need to know that God has been good to you. So if you think that God is going to give you more money just to spend on frivolities, then you must be joking.

Money must be with a mission. Money without a mission will lead to misery. The most miserable people are people that have money without a mission. Prosperity without a purpose will lead to problems. This is when a man who has been faithful to his wife and is doing well gets blessed with a little more than he requires. And that same man turns his attention to the little ‘Mrs. Potiphar’s’ along the road. Do you know that some men tell their wives to get used to the fact that they are having extra marital affairs? And the reason is because he thinks he has money in his pocket. The day the money will dry up, because it will, guess who is going to be with you at that time. The same wife that you have been unfaithful to. God bless faithful wives in Jesus Name. When money is without a mission it becomes a problem. So today understand that God wants to bless you. However, God wants to bless you not so that you can be a rascal but so that you can fulfill His purpose.

Prayer: Father, show me what You want me to do with the resources that You have entrusted to me and give me the grace to do what You show me, in Jesus Name.
