Principle Of Honor II

The seeds of honor are another area you can sow. ‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you’ Deut.5:16 [NIV].

God says ‘Honor your father and your mother… so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you’. It is called the honor seed. Some say that their parents are already rich so they don’t need the money. I say- but you need the blessing, so give them the money. Don’t wait for when you feel you have enough money to bless your parents. Bless them now! Sow the seed now. For those who are wondering how their unbelieving parents can bless them, the truth is that they can because they are your parents.

‘Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.’ 1Tim.5:17-18. This is also the honor seed but it is the double honors. The people that provide spiritual supervision to you, God says sow into their lives. You do not need to look very far, today give a gift [money] to your life group [house fellowship] leader. Even if he has more money than you it does not matter because it is you who needs the grace to be released into your life. How can someone be laboring over you and you don’t see the need to sow into that person’s life? And for those of you thanking God you are not in a life group, well then give it to the person that ushered you into church. Pay close attention to this. The person that parked your car in church, don’t let this season go without you sowing a seed into that life. The choir has been ministering to you; sow a seed into their lives. That is what the Bible says. Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine… The labourer is worthy of his reward.

The Sniper Seed is another way to sow. A sniper is a warrior with a special kind of gun. The gun has powerful binoculars that zoom unto a single target and he shoots it down. A sniper seed is a targeted seed. When you are sowing your sniper seed remember this, “we give up for wealth and we give down for health”. [Please read Isaiah 58].
