Every follower of Jesus Christ has a mandate to reproduce other believers. The power of evangelism isn’t in the volume of scripture that you know but in the person of Jesus that you know. Being an effective witness has nothing to do with you going or not going to Bible College. Being an effective witness has nothing to do with whether you do or do not know every word in the Bible. The key person you should know is Jesus. Evangelism is not about memorizing stuff and reciting it to people. Rather, it is listening to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. The effective way to connect the people that are far from God to God is to live in 3D. Living in 3D means, consistently developing friendships, discovering stories, and discerning the appropriate next steps.

When you hear the term ‘born again Christian’ what comes to your mind? What do you think we would find if we could run a scanner through the entire community to find out what people think when they hear the term ‘born again Christian’? The truth is for a lot of people when they hear the term ‘born again Christian’, they think of hypocrites, lairs, cheats, segregation. Don’t get me wrong; my heart bleeds to think that this is what is happening at the moment. I would like for it to be that when people hear the term ‘born again Christians’ what comes to their minds would be integrity. People you can put in charge of your money and go to sleep. That was how it was a few years ago in Nigeria. People wanted to employ born again Christians. But right before my eyes, in less than ten years, I saw all that change. When people think of born again Christians, people should think of people that have compassion for the poor, people that will take up causes and speak for the voiceless, people should think of love. Now what if God would show you and I a way of changing that story? .So that when people hear ‘born again Christian’ at least in our community they think of integrity and reliability.
