Make Haste

‘We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work’ John 9:4

‘“How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes. Before long your enemies will build ramparts against your walls and encircle you and close in on you from every side.’ Luke19:42-43. I am praying today that you will know the time that God has come to save you. For some people they think they can get born again whenever they want to get born again. The Bible says don’t harden your heart when God calls you because today is the day of salvation. ‘Seek the Lord while you can find him.
Call on him now while he is near’ Isa.55:6. You think that as long as there is life you can seek God at anytime. Not really. When God is calling, you have to respond. I’m a nocturnal person and so I go to sleep in the early hours of the morning. Lets say I sleep off at two o’clock in the morning and God wakes me up at half past four, what do I do? I could press snooze meaning God wait till seven or eight o’clock right? Or I could get up and respond because I do not control the light. The fact that you do not control the light is the greatest discovery you can make in life. You do not determine when the light changes back to red. If God demands something of you, give it to Him now! There is a window of response for every green light.

You are reading this today, you are a single man, and God has impressed upon your heart the particular woman to marry. Then act quickly! People give me all sorts of funny excuses for not acting quickly. Someone said he wants to buy a third car so himself, his wife, and their children can have their separate cars. Before his very eyes another man came and married the woman. And guess what, he was upset that she wasn’t faithful and she wasn’t loyal to him. When you had your chance you were doing everything else but marrying her. Now the window has closed to you and opened to someone else. People really don’t understand this side of God. The man was sure that God led him to that particular woman. The fact that God desires something for you does not mean it will automatically come to being.

Prayer: Father, I ask for wisdom of You who freely gives, wisdom to quickly carry out the tasks assigned me by the You who sent us, in Jesus Name.
