Limits Off
‘The lazy person claims, “There’s a lion out there! If I go outside, I might be killed!”’ Prov.22:13.
Let it be foremost in your mind that God will bless only the works of your hands. A lot of people allow laziness cut them off from God’s plan of greatness for their lives. ‘The lazy person claims, “There’s a lion out there! If I go outside, I might be killed!”’ Prov.22:13. Lazy people manufacture very brilliant excuses. Have you met such people? In other words if you tell him or her to go outside you are trying to kill him or her whereas there is no lion anywhere. A thousand may fall by your side and ten thousand by your right hand but it shall not come near you. After all God says don’t be afraid of the people that can only kill the body and cannot touch the soul. For a believer, to die is gain and that is the truth. You will not die before your time, in Jesus Name. However, if you are being threatened then you should protect yourself. I believe strongly that the reason God wrote the story of Cain and Abel in the Bible is firstly to teach those of us that are Abel’s that God has accepted and God will accept our sacrifices and bless us. And secondly, that there are Cain’s out there that will want to lure us to the field. Since we are to learn from their examples, when a Cain tells me to come to the field, I know to protect myself so that my blood will not be spilled on the ground. It would be foolishness for there to be the story of Cain and Abel in the Bible and for Cain to still kill you. It is up to you to rewrite the story in your own situation.
The lazy person is a manufacturer of excuses. ‘Lazy people take food in their hand but don’t even lift it to their mouth’ Prov.19:24. For such people, God provides for them but to use their hands to put the food in their mouth is inconveniencing. You will not be lazy in the last days of this year and in the New Year, in the Name of Jesus. Every one has a potential to be lazy but these Scriptures set me free from laziness because Scriptures are to instruct and to guide and to direct us. Lazy people are not visionless people. And it is not that they do not have a desire to succeed. But ‘Despite their desires, the lazy will come to ruin, for their hands refuse to work’ Prov.21:25. Your hands will not refuse to work in Jesus Name.
Prayer: Father, let every seed of laziness that God has not planted in my life be completely uprooted, in Jesus Name.
