No Need For Another!

‘Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God’ Heb.12:2

Jesus is the only alphabet you can use to reach God. The only language that God speaks and understands is the language where the alphabet has Jesus as the alpha and omega and everything in between. For example, if you were to teach a child English, your beginning point would be the alphabets, right? So you would start something like this, A is for apple, B is for Ball, and so on. But in the school of Heaven, in the language of Heaven, A is for Jesus, B is for Jesus, … and Z is for Jesus. That is the language that Heaven understands – Jesus is everything. Jesus says, “I am the Alpha”, in other words, I am the numerical construct of Heaven. Before Him there was none, after Him you will not find another. How does this apply to us? Once Christ finds you and you are in Christ, you have no need for another because He is the Alpha and Omega. The truth remains that everything you’ll ever need is in Jesus.

“…Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith…” So there are three obvious parts to Jesus being Alpha and Omega. The first part is Jesus as Alpha, which is the one that was in the beginning. And if there was a ‘before the beginning’, Jesus is the one you will find there. The second part is the Omega, which is the one that is to come. And the third part is everything in between, the I Am – the one that is. The Alpha, the I Am, and the Omega. In fact Jesus puts it this way; I am Alpha and the Omega. I am the one that is, the one that was, alpha, and is to come. I hope you get this. Alpha – the one that was; Jesus is the Beginning. It’s one thing to be there in the beginning and it is another thing to be the Beginning. Jesus was not only there in the beginning, Jesus is the Beginning. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth’ John 1:1-5 & 14. Amazing! That Word that was there in the beginning with God, was there with God, and existed before the beginning, is Jesus – the absolute Alpha. Before Him there was nothing and there was no one . He is the beginning.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, today I make You my beginning. Lord, be at the beginning of all that concerns me and all that I do, in Jesus Name.
