Sustained Bloom I

“When he went into the Tabernacle of the Covenant the next day, he found that Aaron’s staff, representing the tribe of Levi, had sprouted, budded, blossomed, and produced ripe almonds!” Num.17:8

“When he went into the Tabernacle of the Covenant the next day, he found that Aaron’s staff, representing the tribe of Levi, had sprouted, budded, blossomed, and produced ripe almonds!” What is the significance of this? Just before this, there had been contention on the priesthood. By inference, there was contention on Aaron’s destiny. And God said gather all the staffs of the leaders from each tribe and place them before Me. “Buds will sprout on the staff belonging to the man I choose. Then I will finally put an end to the people’s murmuring and complaining against you.Num.17:5. I am praying that because you are going to bloom, every contention against your destiny will be silenced, every contention against your promotion will be silenced, and every contention against your assignment will be silenced, in Jesus Name. And God will totally separate you from the pack. God’s Word gives us three keys to a sustained bloom.

The first key to a sustained bloom is, make the Word of God priority. “So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, so that as long as the sky remains above the earth, you and your children may flourish in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors.Deut.11:18-21. This is God speaking; so that as long as the sky is above the earth, in other words, as long as this earth remains you and your children will bloom. But for that to happen, for you to have sustained bloom, you have to make the Word of God priority. Read your Bible. Use Bible study aids such as the FreshFire devotional for adults and for your children because the Word of God says teach them to your children.

The second key to a sustained bloom is, get rid of the little foxes. “Catch the foxes for us, those little foxes that menace the vineyards, For our vineyards are so vulnerable when they are in full bloom.” Sng.2:15 [VOICE]. Let me explain this, there are some little foxes that you are playing with right now but because you have not seen the full bloom, it is as if they are just harmless pets. But God is saying to you and I because you are going to have the full bloom, these little foxes that appear to be harmless will now be a menace, dangerous, and destructive to your life. So get rid of them.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, I ask for renewed grace to make God and God’s Word priority in my life and in my home everyday, in Jesus Name.
