The third step to living stress free like Jesus is know where you are from and where you are going it is called the Principle of Origin. “Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going” Jn. 8:14. Powerful! It is the principle of origination, everything comes from the source and returns back to the source. Jesus knew where He was going. This is why direction is so important. If you do not know your source you will be confused about direction. Loneliness is not always the absence of affection. Loneliness sometimes is the absence of direction. Sometimes we are surrounded with people but we lack purpose. We are surrounded with affection but we lack direction. We are in a room filled with people but we are still lonely. You know why? Direction. Jesus said, I know where I came from and where I am going. Amazing! So if you are really lonely or struggling with loneliness check, do you really know where you are coming from? And above all, do you know where you are going? If you can sort out these two questions, loneliness will be a thing of the past in your life, believe me.

The principle of origination is so powerful. It is from the word origin that you have the word original. Have you heard someone describe another person as fake? What they are saying in essence is that that person is trying to copy everyone else. When you classify someone as original it means that person is in a class of his or her own. He knows who he is – Principle of what Identification. He knows who he is trying to please – Principle of Dedication. He knows where he is coming from and where he is going to – Principle of Origin. It is my prayer that people will look at you and say that lady or that man is just in a class by himself or herself – original. You cannot be original if you do not know where you are from and where you are going. Not knowing where one is from or where one is going produces a lot of stress. But when you know where you came from and where you are going, it is a stress buster. A material carries the properties of its source. Some ladies have gold earrings, some have ivory earrings, and some have silver earrings. If you check the content of say the gold earring, everything gold can do that earring can do also. If gold shines, that earring shines. If gold is strong, the earring will be strong. Meaning, to know what you are made up of, check your source.

Prayer: Father, I declare that You alone are my source of origin. Lord, help me live daily in the reality of this truth, in Jesus Name.
