Christ Is All
“ Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand” Col.3:1
One major challenge that the female specie face is they are always looking for completion. Women are always looking for a man to complete them. Leah also made that mistake, she gave birth to her first child and named him Ruben meaning now I will be complete. Now I will be loved but that did not happen. She gave birth to the second child Simeon, she gave birth to the third one, Levi but nothing happened. Then she gave birth to the forth child and named him Judah meaning now I will praise the Lord, the glory the lifter up of my head. You begin to find completeness when your heart lifts itself to God in worship and in praise. Jesus is the only one that can complete you, no man can. Man can try but men have been failing since Adam. Through Christ you are complete. In Christ you are complete. “So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority” Col.2:10 [emphasis added].
Please read and study Colossians 3. “[In this new creation all distinctions vanish.] There is no room for and there can be neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, [nor difference between nations …, nor slave or free man; but Christ is all and in all [everything and everywhere, to all men, without distinction of person]” Col.3:11 [AMP, emphasis added]. In Christ, there is no distinction based on race, class or other human categories, in Christ we are all the same. Christ is all. I asked a young man why he was not married because as far as I could see he was a good guy, Holy Ghost filled and with a good job. I even offered to help him out if the problem was approaching the ladies. But when I drilled down further, I discovered he had a bias based on race. It is really sad that people still do that because in Christ there is no distinction, there is no male or female. I was listening to a conversation between believers and they were talking about a tribe of outcasts. And how if their son ever marries from that tribe they would disown their son. Outcasts? Who made them outcast? If a man is in Christ he is a new creation all things are passed away behold all things have become new – all things. And he said be realistic, how can I allow my son marry an outcast? I said if your son is born again and the ‘outcast’ lady is born again and they love themselves and want to get married, let them get married. He said these things can be challenging. My question is challenging to whom? Will you allow the Word of God to be final or will you allow the traditions of men to be final?
Prayer: Father, today I submit to the authority of Your Word and I give it first place in my life, my home, and my decision making, in Jesus Name.
