Guarantee

“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you” Rom.8:11.

“…Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?” Luke 24:5. Not Mary, not Peter, not even John the beloved, nobody gave Jesus a chance. They did not believe that He would be raised from the dead. However, the beauty of this is, God does not need Peter’s permission to raise Jesus from the dead. God does not need Mary’s faith to raise Jesus form the dead. God does not need the willingness of the Pharisees to raise Jesus from the dead.

What this means to you and I is that your resurrection does not depend on whether people like you or not. What God has said, He will do! What guarantees that the pain of Friday, that goes to the gloom of Saturday, will change to the celebration of Sunday? What guarantees that the pressure of Friday, that goes to the silence of Saturday, will change to the jubilation of Sunday? What guarantees that even though I am in Friday, I am going to see Sunday and I will rejoice? What guarantees it is, the Power of God. Your guarantee is the Power of Resurrection. So you may be in a Friday season, you may be in a Saturday season, but because you are encountering the Power of Resurrection, you are going to be ushered into your Sunday season, in Jesus Name. Yes, you will!

This same Resurrection Power is available now to you and me. How do I know that? “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you” Rom.8:11 [emphasis added]. That same Spirit and not another spirit. He does not need to remanufacture it; that same Spirit will give life to your mortal body.

Do not get me wrong, I know that we cannot explain why some people do not get healed sometimes. But I know the Word of God says, “if the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in your physical body [because He lives in you] that same Spirit will give life to your mortal body”. Sometimes, we think what Jesus came to do is just about eternity. Yes it is about eternity but it is also about your physical body and your physical wellbeing here on earth.

Prayer: The same Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead lives in me. And God will fill my mortal body with life by this same Spirit living within me, in Jesus Name.
