Deliberate Action
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Prov.29:18 [KJV]
Life is a battle. You do not need to spend long on earth to discover that life is a battle. From birth the baby had to breakthrough; it comes into a strange world. The first thing that comes out of the baby’s mouth is a cry. And the battle never stops; the last victory or defeat will be with death. For those of us that are saved, it is a victory already because death where is your sting. But until that last battle, the struggle continues. Like any military commander, spectacular success depends on your ability to think and act strategically. You are the general of your life. You call the shots. And for the victory to be effected in all areas of your life, you must understand that your ability to think and act strategically is indispensable.
Two years ago, we highlighted eight areas of life in the goals card that you should have an objective [a plan] for and therefore you should be victorious in. Areas such as your spiritual life, your relationships, your health, your creativity, your personal development goals, your emotional goals, your material goals, and your leisure goals. And this is why we have been deliberate about including the goals card in Fresh Fire this year.
God wants you to have victory in all these areas, but victory does not happen haphazardly. In fact, if you gain victory without knowing how, it will just be luck. But if you understand the principles of war and you gain victory in one location, you will be able to gain victory again if you are moved to another location because the first one was not by chance. The first victory was by deliberate action, strategic thinking, spiritual effort, and unprecedented favour. Be deliberate about your spiritual life, your relationships, your health, your creativity, your personal development goals, your emotional goals, your material goals, and your leisure goals. You have the goals card; use it. If you have not been deliberate, today is a good day to start. You are the general of your life.
Prayer: Father, let the deliberate actions I take in my life align with Your plans for me and let it result in unprecedented victory, in Jesus Name.
