Be Careful

Do not rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!” Num.14:9

So they spread this bad report about the land among the Israelites: “The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!” Num.13:32-33. And God said, “as you have said it in My ears so shall it be” [Num.14]. Be careful what you say particularly in God’s Presence. In your life, because God is with you every time, be careful what you say. Their perception shaped their reality, all of them died in the wilderness. You will not die in the wilderness, in Jesus Name.

The Kwarams empire was just a huge mass consisting of the present day Iran, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and part of Iraq. Genghis Kahn of the Mongol empire was obsessed with possession of land. No nation had been able to dispossess Kwarams empire because they had a fantastic formation of defense forest around themselves. However, the northern part was left open because it was huge expanse of desert and no army had been able to survive the desert. Every army that attempts it, dies before it gets  to the empire. So they just left the northern part open and focused on the east, west and south.

Guess where Genghis Kahn went? But he did not go like every other army had before him. What he did was actually very simple if you think about it. He captured a local village by the dessert. But instead of killing the people, he gave them provision. Of course they wanted to know what they had done to be so favoured by him. He said he just needed to cross the desert and they could guide him because they know where the oasis are. And happily they led him and his army across the desert, from one oasis to another oasis. By the time they hit the empire, nobody was expecting it. There is no terrain that is “too tough”; it is because you do not have enough intelligence. Gather intelligence because it makes all the difference in battle.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me gain the intelligence that is required to win every battle I will encounter, in Jesus Name.
