Believe God

“Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God… I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours” Mark 11:22 & 24 [emphasis added].

Desire always precedes result. If you read the book of Ezekiel, you will see that Ezekiel was a man that was loaded with a burden for the nation of Israel. For you to go from death to life, desire always precedes results. You must have a burden; a burning desire must be in your heart. Some of us have lost the desire for healing. You do not even have the burning desire to see yourself healed. Some of us have lost the desire to see our loved ones get saved. We used to pray for them but we have stopped.

Some of us have lost the burning desire for a promotion, or for favor, or even for our marriage. Some people have given up on their marriages being what they once desired it to be and are now just waiting for rapture. Like some pastor said to me, ‘Even though I really want to kill her, I cannot because if I kill her I will go to hell. I am praying that you will not just be waiting for rapture in your marriage, in Jesus Name.

A lot of us have lost the burden for what we once desired from God. Sometimes people start fasting and they lose the burning desire to see their lives go from death to life. And because they lose that burning desire, nothing happens. That is why people end their fast before the set time. It is a desire issue. You have waited this long, why not just see it through? When frogs filled the land of Egypt and Moses asked Pharaoh, when do you want me to tell my God to chase away the frogs? Do you know what Pharaoh said? He said “tomorrow”. Why not now?

One of my spiritual daughters had the burning desire to have a child. To have her first child was a miracle and God had given her three but she wanted one more. And she gave me no rest and it occurred to me that some of the people who did not have any children were not as passionate as she was. There were times she would come with seed for her baby. Guess what? About two years after, she conceived and today she has a baby boy. Sadly, there are people who have resigned themselves that having children is not their portion. Do not say that; hang in there. Even if you die believing, die believing. Believe God!
