Essentials VI
Eccl.3:1 “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven… 11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.”
Winston Churchill says, “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” For a lot of us, when we think about courage, what comes to mind is the courage to stand up, speak up, and fight for our rights and that is fine. However, it also takes courage to sit down and listen. Guess what? Most of the time, it is the courage to sit down and listen that actually releases us into our destinies.
Since we are going to fight and possess our destinies in God, WE MUST HAVE THE COURAGE TO BELIEVE IT IS NEVER TOO LATE. I remember when I told my wife what I felt God was saying to me about starting God’s Favourite House. I expected it was going to be an uphill task to convince her about the move. Then I would be able to say, ‘Lord, she does not agree, and You are not the author of confusion. This move has to wait till we are aligned’. But to my utter shock and amazement, when I told my wife she got up and started dancing. I thought she was in shock because when people are in shock they do the strangest things. I needed to know why she was dancing because I was burdened, I was literarily almost bursting.
I reminded her how we gave our lives to the first work and about how things went. Then I asked her, “Where are we going to start from!” She asked me, “Where did that church start from?” “From our living room”, I responded. Then she said, “We will start from our living room.” I thought, confirmed – this woman is crazy, how can she propose that? The courage to believe that it is never too late. If you want to take possession of your destiny, you must believe that it is never too late. Many of us think time has passed us by or that we have lost the opportunity. God is saying to you today, it is never too late.
Please read Joshua 14:10-12a. Caleb was eighty-five years old! It is very easy to convince ourselves that age was not an issue back then because they lived long. My summation is, if age was not an issue, Caleb would not make reference to it and the Bible would not document it. At eighty-five, you should be tired and weak but with God you can be a hundred and twenty and be going strong. Do not write yourself off. It is NEVER too late to start a business. In spite of the age bracket on job adverts, they will rewrite it for you because it is never too late.
Prayer: Father, my time and seasons are in Your hands, break existing protocol to glorify Your Name in my life and situation, in Jesus Name. Amen!

Halleluyah!!!
It is never too late! It takes courage to listen and try again. Thank you Lord!
Don’t focus on the failure, focus on the next step! That in itself encourages you! Never too late, that in itself sounds like an invitation to me and a promise. Whoop whoop. Excited much
