The Shift
Jer.29:7 “And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” (emphasis added)
A peaceful life is an uncommon life. A prosperous life is an uncommon life. I know a lot of people feel like throwing their hands up right now because the current state of their finances looks nothing like prosperity. So, I am going to tell you a few things that should shatter your paradigm. Are you ready for a paradigm shift?
Out of about eight billion people in the world, about two hundred million are Nigerians. The population below the poverty line in Nigeria is 70%. Do you see yourself in the 70%? A lot of people reading this earn at least twenty thousand Naira monthly. Do you know that if you earn twenty thousand Naira monthly, you are in the top 35% richest people in the world? With your salary of twenty thousand monthly that you feel is so little and God is not faithful, you can pay the salary of eleven medical doctors in Pakistan. Guess what? There are eight billion people in the world, and you are richer than almost five billion people. The source of this information is from the globalrichlist.com. Check it out for yourself online.
You are prosperous and a prosperous life is an uncommon life. If your current monthly salary is twenty thousand, I pray that God will promote you in Jesus Name. But I want you to realize that your mentality about yourself must change. When we say the prosperous life is an uncommon life, you must see yourself as living an uncommon life because your life is not common. Almost five billion people are praying to have what you have. For those earning a hundred thousand naira monthly, you are in the top 12% richest people in the world. Do you feel different already? You can pay the salaries of fifty-seven doctors in Pakistan. Even if you choose to keep the salary of seven of them to yourself, you can still feed fifty medical doctors in Pakistan.
With a salary of one hundred thousand naira, you are richer than six billion, two hundred and seventy-eight million people and you are still complaining? Something is wrong here and what is wrong is our hearts. We need to begin to see that the prosperous life is an uncommon life. Some people earn half a million, some earn a million, some earn ten million, and some earn more than that every month. See where you actually are in the scheme of things. You are prosperous. Note that the quality of your health and your wealth is linked to the people around you (Jer.29:7).
Prayer: Father, according to Your Word and desire, I will prosper and be in health even as my soul prospers and I bring in multitudes into God’s Kingdom, in Jesus Name. Amen!
