In Harmony

2 Kings 4:3-4 “And Elisha said, “Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors.  Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled” (emphasis added).

Beginning today, we are turning our focus to the next ‘F’ – Friendships. However, it is important to mention that faith is so central to humans that when faith in God is absent, inevitably humans will develop faith in other things and systems.

 It is all about your faith, all the noise in the different parts of your life is all about your faith. The enemy is after your faith. The goal of every attack is to get you to lose faith in God. Or to get you to stop being committed to God and to get you to stop serving God. The devil is not interested in your family, finances, fitness, friends, or farm. The devil is only interested in your faith, as is God.

But I pray for you in the Name of Jesus that your faith will not fail. Faith will be tested, but faith always produces results. Is your faith being tested now? Are you being tested in your family, finances, friendships, fitness, farm, or is it a combination of all? I pray that your faith will not fail. I pray that your faith will grow stronger and stronger in the Name of Jesus. I pray that your faith will be on fire for God in the Name of Jesus. Securing a limitless future is actually about having a limitless life. To break the barriers in your family, finances, faith, friendships, fitness, and farm. Get them integrated and working together. You should not have to give up in family what you gain in finance. Or give up in fitness what you gain in farm. 

You should not have to give up in friendships what you gain in faith. It is God’s will that these core areas should all work in tandem, in harmony. Your life and your future become limitless (without limits) when you stop seeing these areas as competing, and instead see them as completing each other. Guess what? Wherever there is a conflict, it is usually a sign that you are skewed to one area, and you are robbing Peter to pay Paul. And God wants every part to work in harmony. When all these parts are working in harmony, we truly become limitless. In 2 Kings 4:1-7 (please read), we see that it took family, faith, finances, fitness, farm, and friendships working in harmony for the widow to break through and experience limitlessness. 

So, over the next few days, God is going to strengthen our Friendships. Note that the word ‘friendships’ is used here loosely to represent relationships. At different seasons in life, we sometimes feel like we do not have friends anymore. Or we feel like we have lost all our friends. Maybe you changed jobs, moved, or maybe seasons have changed. But the truth of God’s Word is that we need people, we need friendships, we need relationships. 

Prayer: Father, I bring my relationships to You, please have Your way, in Jesus Name. Amen!
