Conspirator
Daniel 6:5 “So they concluded, “Our only chance of finding grounds for accusing Daniel will be in connection with the rules of his religion.”
You need five types of relationships in your life to be limitless and to truly become all that God has called you to be. You need to have a Conspirator, Constituent, Comrade, Confidant, and Commander. We see all these relationships represented in 2 Kings 4:1-4
“…My husband who served you is dead, and you know how he feared the Lord. But now a creditor has come, threatening to take my two sons as slaves.” … Elisha asked. “Tell me, what do you have in the house?” “Nothing at all, except a flask of oil,” …And Elisha said, “Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbours. Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you…”.
The first one that jumps out at us is the Conspirator. We all need conspirators. Conspirators will seek you out. No one really goes out looking for a conspirator. Who is a conspirator? A conspirator, according to the dictionary, is a person will plot with others to do something harmful. A person who plots with others to hate on you, spread rumours about you, or harm you if they can, is a conspirator. Anyone in league with satan’s agenda for your life is an enemy, a conspirator. Sometimes, we have well-meaning people, but they are on the wrong side.
An example is Peter. After predicting His death in Mark 8:32-33 “…Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” At that point in time, Peter was on the wrong side, so he became a conspirator conspiring with satan. And Jesus called him out for what it was. There is no beef, no quarrelling, Jesus was still friends with Peter. But Jesus said, ‘Peter, you are an adversary to Me. Your statement is not in line with what The Father said. It is in line with the plans of the enemy’ (paraphrased). So, you have to ‘shine your eye’ (be watchful, be alert, be on guard).
Sometimes we are too sentimental. A lot of people have died because they refused to call a spade a spade. Someone is going around propagating your downfall, the person is your enemy. What we do with enemies is another thing entirely because Jesus says love your enemies. But the key thing is, the person is your enemy, nonetheless. It is what it is. Conspirators are in league with satan’s agenda for your life. Satan’s agenda for your life is to steal, kill, and destroy. Everyone in league to steal from you and make you lose ground is your enemy.
Prayer: Father, help me identify the conspirators in my life and fill me with the wisdom required to be in relationship with them, in Jesus Name. Amen!
