Be Proactive

1 Peter 2:24 “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” (NKJV).

Yesterday, we learnt that the three main enemies of fitness are Disease, Stress and Laziness. However, God has paid for your health in Christ Jesus. So, do not miss out on what God has for you. Regardless of the disease, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,

 because of the wounds of Jesus that have secured your healing, we decree that you are healed because you have been healed. So, it is and shall be in the Name of Jesus. 1 Peter 2:24 “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” (NKJV). You should walk in divine health every single day of your life. I pray that you will walk in divine health every single day of your life. Do you know why? It is because you will be more fit if you do not have any disease or health challenge you are dealing with.

Therefore, you have to be proactive and deliberate about your fitness. The truth is that this world is broken and there are enough unavoidable pains in this world. You do not need to do anything, there are certain pains you will experience just by being a human being that is alive. But do not complicate it, do not add to the unavoidable pain. Some pains are completely avoidable. By paying the price to stay fit and healthy, you eradicate a whole lot of things, and you give yourself a chance. For instance, we tell people to get medical insurance. Some years ago, we even took it a step further in God’s Favourite House with an initiative called the “Rapha Covenant”. The “Rapha Covenant” allows people to get medical insurance for free because some other people have paid for it.

Unfortunately, even though it was free for a lot of people, some people still did not fill out the forms. Then there is a medical emergency, and they expect everybody to be running around? No, it does not work like that. Do not put your life in danger. But Pastor, you just said by the wounds of Jesus we were healed, so why do we need medical insurance? Listen, God can heal you supernaturally, and God can heal you medically. Both are a blessing from God. Do not listen to all the people who are saying that medical science is not of God. Do not take yourself out of an opportunity that heaven has provided. If you claim you have faith, then why are you running around when there is a medical emergency? The point is it is not wise to leave your life to chance. You need to take the necessary precautions. 

Prayer: Father, I ask for the wisdom to make the most of every opportunity and time that You give me to secure a limitless future, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
