It Overflows

John 10:¹⁰ “…My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (emphasis added).

Jesus’ purpose is to give you a rich and satisfying life. Totally amazing. So, if your life right now is not rich and satisfying, you need to check your connection to Jesus. And I pray that God will resolve every connection issue that you have in the Name of Jesus. The Amplified Bible puts it this way, “…I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” The interesting thing about abundant life is that it always overflows. If you experience abundant life, you cannot keep it to yourself because it always overflows. It overflows into your spouse, your children, and your environment. And it flows out how? Abundantly!

What is abundant life in a nutshell? Abundant life is a life filled with meaning, purpose, joy, and strength for the spirit, soul, and body and that overflows into other people. You will have purpose in your spirit, soul, and body. You will have joy, strength, and meaning in your spirit, soul, and body. If your life is without meaning, without joy, without purpose, and without strength. Then abundant life is what you need. I pray for you, and I speak over you that in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth your life will be filled with meaning, filled with purpose, filled with joy, and filled with strength. It will be filled in such a way that it overflows into other people’s lives in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Jesus is not promising a life where we manage this and manage that. Jesus is promising a life that is full of meaning, full of joy, full of purpose, and full of strength that overflows. When you examine such a life, it is not necessarily because the person has twenty billion dollars, fifteen private jets, or thirty-five houses. It is because the person has abundant life. Guess what? You can have thirty billion dollars and not have meaning, purpose, strength, and joy. You can have thirty-five houses and not have meaning, purpose, strength, and joy that overflows into other people’s lives. This abundant life is not promising us a life that will get everything.

But what do you need everything for if you have life? When you have life, you have everything because you will not lack anything. It is a life that is not limited by your experiences, the pain you feel, or by plans that have not gone according to plan. It is not limited by the fact that things around are not perfect. It is abundant life in itself, and it flows into all these areas of life.

Prayer: Father, my life is filled with meaning, purpose, joy, and strength for my spirit, soul, and body and it overflows into every area of my life and into other people, in Jesus Name. Amen!
