Christened
Philippians 2:9-10 “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth” (NKJV)
Acts 19:13-16 “A group of Jews was traveling from town to town casting out evil spirits. They tried to use the name of the Lord Jesus in their incantation, saying, “I command you in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, to come out!” Seven sons of Sceva, a leading priest, were doing this.
But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?” Then the man with the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them, and attacked them with such violence that they fled from the house, naked and battered.”
“…the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul…”, in other words, Jesus has been introduced. “…God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…” – introduction. Paul had been introduced because Paul was a servant of Jesus, he carries His name – introduced (Acts 16:17). If any demon manages to tell you that, you will say to them, “Today you will add my name to the list. Jesus, you know, Paul you know, my name you know, now who are you?” Your name has to be there, and your name can only be there when God introduces you. When God introduces you, you are recognized in heaven, on earth, and in hell. That is why, sometimes you go through attacks. It is because you are recognized that the enemy is attacking you. But if you get up and you command in the Name of Jesus and come against the enemy, he MUST flee.
When God introduces you, you are not only recognized, but you are also authorized. You are both recognized and authorized. A name recognized in heaven, a name recognized in hell, a name recognized on earth. That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, of things on the earth, of things beneath the earth. And every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Now back to the story from yesterday, imagine if Mr Kasaali was the president of the country that multinational was in. And the CEO of that multinational mistakenly gets his security to rough handle his son and throw him out on the streets. What do you think will happen? God will introduce you in the Name of Jesus.
I Will Give You A Name means I Will Make Your Name Great. God will make your name great in the Name of Jesus. I Will Give You A Name means I Will Make You Unique. God will make you unique in the Name of Jesus. I Will Give You A Name means I Will Give You A Voice. God will give you a voice in the Name of Jesus. I Will Give You A Name means I Will Introduce You. God Himself will introduce you in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Prayer (song): Who is like unto Thee, O Lord? Who is like unto Thee, O Lord? Among the gods who is like Thee? Glorious in holiness. Fearful in praises. Doing wonders, hallelujah! Amen!
