Align & Remember

Psalm 103:1-2 “O my soul, come, praise the Eternal with all that is in me—body, emotions, mind, and will—every part of who I am—praise His holy name. O my soul, come, praise the Eternal; sing a song from a grateful heart; sing and never forget all the good He has done.” (The Voice)

The resources of heaven available to you are directly proportional to how aligned you are to the cause of heaven. You only get the highest power, the power of the Highest, when you are aligned with God and His Kingdom. God is calling you today to adopt His agenda, abandon distractions, and appropriate His power. It is a call, and you can respond in multiple ways. You can respond like Moses and say, “Who? Me?” Or you can respond like Jonah and say, “Not me, Lord”. Or you can respond like Habakkuk and say, “Why me? Why not him or her? Why not them?” Or you can respond like Isaiah and say to the Lord, “Here I am, send me!”

What would it be: “Who me?”, “Not me”, “Why me?”, or “Send me”. I invite you today to make the rest of your life, the best of your life. How? By Adopting God’s Agenda, Abandoning Distractions, and Appropriating God’s Power. And your life would be aligned with The Kingdom. Alignment brings with it increased performance, lasting longer (tenacity), improved handling, prevents drifting, eradicates strange vibrations, and saves power. If you want to commit to God’s agenda, abandon all distractions, and appropriate God’s power, talk to God wherever you are. Pause and just talk to God, your King.

Now let’s move from Alignment, to Remember. The concept of remembering is sometimes pushed to the limit, particularly in the space of education. To pass an exam, you have to remember what you have been taught in school. Sometimes, we are made to remember things that we question (at least at that phase of our lives), whether we should actually memorize at all. For instance, growing up, I always wondered why we had to memorize the multiplication table. When I passed that phase of life, and heard younger children reciting the multiplication table, I still wondered why. I cannot remember a single examination where I had to fill out a part of, or even the entire multiplication table.

However, the truth is, the process of exercising our minds in remembering is a lifelong skill. If you learn how to remember, then you can apply it physically, and spiritually, and it is of value to you even mentally. Guess what? God expects us to remember certain key things, certain crucial things in our lives. God is telling us to remember. There is an adage that a child who knows how to think, will know how to thank. Simply put, the child who can think, can thank.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for aligning me in this season. I ask that You help me remember the things You want me to remember, the things I should never forget, in Jesus Name. Amen!
