What Kind?

Genesis 1:¹¹ “Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation—every sort of seed-bearing plant, and trees that grow seed-bearing fruit. These seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came.” And that is what happened.” (emphasis added).

The seed will only produce the same kind of plant and trees that they came from. And this is really huge. Everything in your life comes from and is in existence by seeds planted by someone else and yourself. The question to you is, do you want the kind of fruit that will grow from the kind of seeds that you are planting? If you do not want the kind of fruit that will grow, stop planting the seed. You can stop. Have you started off on a path and realized it was the wrong path? You can stop now. Why? All you can do is plant the seed. You cannot determine the outcome of the seed. The outcome of the seed is determined when the seed is planted.

On another hand, do you want the kind of fruit that will grow from the seed others are planting in your life? People are planting seeds in your life. Your phone is planting seeds in your life. Social media is planting seeds in your life. Television is planting seeds in your life. Coco Melon is planting seeds in the lives of our children. Do you want the kind of fruit that these seeds will produce? So, if you are spending more time on Facebook than you are spending with your face in God’s Book, you have misplaced priorities. If you are spending more time on social media than you are allowing God to keep you grounded, you are misplacing your priorities.

Everything Starts As A seed. And because everything starts as a seed, there is no such thing as instant growth. That is why seeds are so powerful. When a seed is sown, you do not see anything happening. So, when you sow a negative seed into your life, or you allow people to sow negative seeds in your life because you think let’s not be overly spiritual. And it is because nothing happens in the physical. When you plant a seed, nothing appears to be happening. But the seed has the power to bring to birth everything already coded in it. So, the best time to get rid of a future tree or a future forest that you do not want in your life is to uproot the seed.

I pray, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that every negative seed that has been deposited in your life is hereby uprooted in the Name of Jesus. Even seeds that were deposited by genetic coding, God can reverse or uproot, and plant His own seeds. Do I get an Amen? There is no such thing as instant growth even with the good things of life. When you sow the seed of prayer, it is as if nothing has happened. But guess what? The seed has been sown. Keep on praying because as surely as day follows night, your harvest will come in the Name of Jesus.

Prayer: Father, please uproot every negative seed in my life and the ones I have planted. And plant Your own seeds in me and through me, in Jesus Name. Amen!
