Come & Drink

Psalm 63:1 “O God, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and is faint for You, in a dry and weary land where no water is.” (AMPC, emphasis added)

A lot of people are playing games with their lives. They are not paying attention to the things that matter most. They are not giving their destiny the amount of hunger that it requires. People are not chasing their dreams with hunger. People are not chasing God’s best for them with the appetite that is required. The water of life is bought only with hunger, not with money. It is bought with thirst. Are you thirsty for God and for the things of God? Are you thirsty for your destiny to be watered by God? Or are you doing A. B. A. C. A. D. A. B. A. with life? When you come in contact with and drink of this living water that Jesus has to offer, Jesus calls you to be living waters to others. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters.

One proof that you are taking in living waters is that living water is flowing out of you to other people. You cannot be filled with living water and bottle it in your house. You sit and drink it all by yourself. Jesus is saying that if it is living water, it will have channels out of you. The reason many Christians are frustrated is because they are bottled up. Living waters must find full expression. As was stated days ago, physical water is scarce. Only three percent of the water on earth is usable to man. And out of that three percent, two percent is locked up in ice at the North Pole. Guess what? Only one percent is available, only one percent.

But spiritual living water is different. It is so abundantly available that when we drink, it becomes rivers of living waters through us, limitless! The question is what are you hungry for? What are you thirsty for? God wants you to thirst for the living waters. And when the living water fills your heart and fills your life, it finds expression through your life. You will become a blessing to other people. People will come into your presence and find life, burdens lifted, and yokes destroyed. Why? It is because out of you is flowing rivers of living waters. Psalm 63:1 You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.” (NIV). When you feel parched, it is time to long for God. People often try to satisfy their thirst with many things. It is time to long for God.

Psalm 42:1As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.” (emphasis added). Your soul must pant for God. And as you thirst for God, you will find Him in the Name of Jesus. As you thirst for God, He will satisfy you in the Name of Jesus.

Prayer: Father, my soul thirsts for You, my whole being hungers for You. Fill me with Your living waters till I am drenched and overflow constantly, in Jesus Name. Amen!
