Faith Operations

Romans 1:²⁰ “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” (KJV)

In our world today, most of us are accustomed to sending images, files, and documents via Bluetooth or Airdrop. We do not see the data, but the data is being transmitted. We do not even think twice about these things anymore. It is the same way the supernatural works. Just understand how to engage it, engage it, and leave the rest like they say. Do not worry about how, just engage. Water your plant. As you grow in faith, you grow in potency in the supernatural. In fact, as you grow in faith, you do not need to sweat so many things.

You operate effortlessly, as it were. Basing your life on God and working with God by faith, is the life God has called you to live and it is very powerful. So, what is faith? What does it mean to operate in faith? Simply put, it would mean Basing Your Life On The Truth That God Is Who He Says He Is And That He Will Do What He Has Promised To Do. And that is so powerful. As you live your life, and you walk with God with this truth, you become very powerful. God is who He says He is, and He will do all that He has said He will do. But inadvertently, as people do life, faith gets weakened. As you navigate through life, you will need to re-energize your faith.

There are things that weaken faith. One of such is the Lack of INTEREST in the things that build faith. So, if you have more interest in watching reality TV for example, than in engaging with the things of God like worship, the Word, and fellowship. Then your faith is going to go down. Why? It is because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Another way faith dwindles and weakens is when we make Poor Lifestyle CHOICES. Poor lifestyle choices lead to guilt and most people do not like the feeling of guilt. Guilt is a pointer to a need for adjustment. If you do not like the feeling of guilt, you adjust your behaviour.

Once you adjust your behaviour, guilt goes away. And when the enemy tries to bring up the guilt of the past, by the power of the Blood of the Lamb, you overcome. But what usually happens is that instead of folks to adjust their behaviour, they adjust their belief system to accommodate their bad choices. For instance, someone says, “Pastor, how do we know that W.W.J.D. is not What Would Jesus Drink?” (as in an alcoholic drink). It sounds funny and they laugh about it, but it dampens the need for a change in behaviour. People make excuses and adjust their beliefs, instead of adjusting their behaviour to match up with their beliefs.

Prayer: Father, breathe on me and by Your Spirit rekindle my zeal for the things of God, guide my lifestyle choices Spirit of God, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
