Know How
Psalm 91:1-2 “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” (NKJV)
The Name of the Lord is a stronghold, a stronghold of safety. David said to Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:45 “…You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” Come against everyone who has been harassing you in the Name of the Lord. Psalm 44:5 “Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us. You are our victory, pushing back the enemy; at the sound of Your name, we crush the opposition.” (KJV & Voice, emphasis added).
In God’s Favourite House, our vision is to be filled with the life of Christ Jesus and released into our destinies, taking the world for Him. Guess what? For you to be released into your destiny, taking the world for God, you must know how to break down and establish strongholds. You must know how to dismantle and erect strongholds. Jeremiah 1:9-10 “Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” (NIV, emphasis added).
Uproot, tear down, destroy, overthrow what? Their altars, their strongholds. Then to build and to plant what? To build and to plant the correct infrastructure, stronghold, and nations. For you to be established and released into your destiny, taking the world for God, you must know how to navigate strongholds. Strongholds are known for strength and security. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we withdraw the strength and the security of the strongholds that are against you, your life and your destiny. Be it mental, spiritual, or physical, we withdraw their strength and their security in the Name of Jesus.
A stronghold is built to be strong and secure, providing protection from external threats. Think about it, the stronghold Paul was describing in 2 Corinthians 10 is in people’s minds, and that is internal. How did the enemy gain access? When the enemy infiltrates a stronghold and plants its own agents inside the stronghold, that city or nation is destroyed. And it is because everything within a stronghold must be loyal and aligned with it. The devil does not follow people around whispering in their ears. He plants strongholds in people’s minds, and he goes away. But what he has planted stays with them whether they are asleep or at work.
Prayer: Father, in Jesus Name, I tear down every stronghold planted in my mind. Amen!
