Give It To God

‘Give your burdens to the LORD, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall’ Ps.55:22

‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest’ Matt.11:28. There are some necessary baggages; the one Jesus offers is one you can carry. Guess what, satan also gives baggage but they will never find a place in your life in Jesus Name. Every expectation from the enemy concerning your life will remain unfulfilled. He has nothing good, all he has planned is to kill, steal, and destroy. Every expectation of satan to bless you will remain unfulfilled. Every gift he has for you, may it remain unfulfilled forever in Jesus Name. ‘Give your burdens to the LORD, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall’ Ps.55:22. Give God your baggage. His hands are stretched out, are you willing to handover that load you have been carrying on your own? Or are you one of those who has allowed Jesus carry you while you are still holding unto the baggage? God is asking you to let Him carry the load. Are you going to trust God and just enjoy the ride? Or are you going to say no to God? Some people will even tell God to step aside because they think they can carry the burden on their own. Peter must have trusted that he was able in his own strength to stand as a witness for God. Yet he faced disappointment. In every endeavour, you need to trust God with the burden of direction, provision, protection and fulfillment. With God there is no legitimate unfulfilled expectation. The things in your life that appear unfulfilled are really not unfulfilled because they will be fulfilled with God in His time. God is able to do anything; nothing is impossible with Him. The fact that it is not done yet does not mean it will not be done at all. The fact that you do not see suitors around you yet does not mean you will not get married. The fact that you do not yet have a child or a house does not mean that that is the way it will remain forever. With God you need to understand that there is nothing like unfulfilled expectations.

Prayer [song]: All that I am, all that I have. I lay them down before You O Lord. All my regrets, all my acclaim. The joy and the pain, I’m making them Yours. Lord I offer my life to You, in Jesus Name.
