God Is With You Always
‘When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you’ Isa.43:2
The storms you are going through in your life may be strong and turbulent but I am here to tell you today that Jesus is still the Master of the storms. God is too faithful to fail you. His presence in our lives is not tied to the seasons we go through. He is with you even in the midst of the storm. God’s promise is that ‘when you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown…’. You are going to come out of the storm and you are going to come out stronger. Someone once said ‘you are going through, do not stop there’. Do not stop in the middle of the storm, go through it and come out on top. God says ‘when you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you’. His promise is not that there will be no fire rather His promise is that the fire will not harm you and He will be with you. Some of us are going through what can best be described as fire right now. This same Jesus who was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is with you even now and you are going to come out purer. Yet there are also people reading this right now who cannot relate to it because they have not experienced any kind of storms since they gave their lives to Jesus. God bless you just keep following Jesus. If and when you experience the fire know that He is with you always. John the Baptist said ‘He that commeth after me will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire’. Be confident that the fire and the storms are working together for your good because you love God. You need to be rooted and secure in the love of God. Be rooted in righteousness and make Jesus the center of your life. You may be reading this devotional today and you still go to church but you know that you have gone back to the world, maybe because you feel that Jesus disappointed you; come back to the Master now and watch Him sort you out.
Prayer: Thank You Father because You always hear me when I call. Thank You for strength and encouragement. Thank You for always being with me, in Jesus Name.
