How Well Not How Far
Heb. 12:1 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.” (emphasis added)
Father, even before we dive into what You have for us today and over the next few days, we just want to thank You for Your presence. In Your presence, we are secure, we are safe, we find life, we find hope, we find joy,and we find purpose. Lord Jesus, we ask that You do in every life engaging with Your Word today [on any media], that which eyes have not seen. Father do that which ears have not heard. Send Your Word, heal us, and deliver us from all our destructions, in Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed. Amen!
As we continue to contemplate on God’s unfailing promise of New-Streams, we are trusting God and praying that New-Streams will flow into our lives and from our lives, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. We are trusting that even as we dig into God for greater depths and expressions of His promise of New-Streams and pray it through, we will see it come to fruition in Jesus Name. There will be New-Streams of multiple colors and God will fill us with courage, in the Name of Jesus. As we stand on His promises and stand courageously on His Word, multiplication will burst forth in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
What are the things that can hinder New-Streams from bursting forth in our lives? Over the next few days, we will be looking at the things that can block the flow of New-Streams in our lives. The question to you and I today is, are you going to remove the barriers [the dam] so that the New-Streams can gush out and flow. The New-Streams have actually started flowing and will continue to flow, and many of us are in the New-Streams already. Praise God! However, you and I need to identify the things we must consistently take out so that nothing blocks the flow of our New-Streams. Like Paul was saying while speaking to the Galatian Church in Gal.5:7 “You were running the race so well. Who has held you back…?” In other words, Paul was saying, “You were flowing so well, who has held you back, what has blocked your flow?”
Gal.5:7 “You were running the race so well…” God wants us to run the race of life and God wants us to run the race of life well. The race of life is very interesting, it is not like the normal sporting events that if you do not come first, you have not done well. Some time ago, we had a fitness walk in God’s Favorite House. It is really amazing how competitive people are. It is a fitness walk, right? But for them it is not enough to just participate, they want to come first. But the race of life is not like that. The race of life is not about who comes first. When you show up before God, the question will not be, “Did you finish first?” When you show up before God, the question will be, “Did you finish well?” Huge difference! Big difference! The race of life is not a competitive event to see who comes first but an endurance run, to see who finishes well.
Prayer: Father, I ask for the grace and the wisdom to run with endurance, the race that You have so graciously set before me and to finish well, in Jesus Name. Amen!

You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.
