Focus On The Maker

But Jesus said, “You feed them.” “With what?” they asked. “We’d have to work for months to earn enough money to buy food for all these people!’ Mark 6:37

The first thing we have to do to prepare for a miracle is focus on what God can do and not how difficult or impossible the problem appears. ‘But Jesus said, “You feed them’; in other words Jesus was saying obviously you cannot feed them in your strength or with the resources you have. Jesus was saying to them look to God to feed them. The truth is you cannot focus on your blessings and your problems at the same time. You can’t focus on God’s promises for you and the devil’s promises for you at the same time. God’s promise is you will have life and have it more abundantly. The devil’s promise is he will steal from you, he will kill you, and he will destroy you. You can’t focus on both at the same time. When you focus on what God is saying, you loose sight of what the devil is saying and vice versa. That is why the word Amen is so apt. It translates to focusing on what God is doing and agreeing with God. God says you will be a mother and the enemy says your back will not carry a single child. Which would you believe? God has said establishment for us as a people but of course the enemy has what he is saying concerning us as a people but he will fail in Jesus Name.

There are people in your life who you think are for you but are actually just around you to see what will become of you. They want to see if the enemy’s prophecy will come to pass in your life. They are not committed to you. You have to ignore such people and focus on God. Remember you cannot focus on what God is doing and what your enemies are doing at the same time. You just can’t. It is impossible to use one eyeball to look upwards and the other to look downwards. You can’t focus on God’s miracle and at the limitation at the same time. That is why some of us appear to be somewhat unreasonable and are not logical. It is because we have chosen where our focus will be. You cannot focus on the Promised Land and focus on the giants at the same time. God wants you to focus on the Promised Land. For nothing shall be impossible with our God.

Prayer: Father, help me to keep my heart stayed on what you can do at all times and not how difficult the problem before me is, in Jesus Name.
