Expect God To Multiply

‘Jesus took the five loaves and two fish… and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread to the disciples… and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftover bread and fish’ Mark 6:41&43

The final thing we have to do to prepare for a miracle is expect God to multiply it. We must expect God to multiply our sacrificial seed – we must expect a miracle. So when you give what you are giving, expect a two-fold miracle. Firstly, expect a miracle for us as a church based on your lunch box – on your seed. Secondly, expect a miracle for yourself, for the land that you are believing God for. Like we said previously, land for you could represent fruitfulness, business, health, or education. Expect multiplication in the area you desire fruitfulness, in your finances, in your health, or in your education. The fact is that you will always reap more than you sow. In other words, harvest is always more than seed. I remember about twelve years ago I had been trusting God for a business that would bring revenue in US Dollars. Then one day I heard God say to me ‘you have been sowing in naira what is wrong with you why do you want to reap in dollars’. Eureka! What I did then was to gather what I had, convert it to dollars, and sow it. Then I waited month one nothing, month two and three nothing. Time passed and I actually forgot about it but do you know that not up to three years later I got a call from a South African company who wanted to partner with me. What was I supposed to be doing? Nothing really. So I was doing nothing, just being their partner and every month I was getting revenue in US dollars. Then I remembered that I had sown a seed. God does not work the way we work. When I sowed the seed, I was expecting something else. In fact I was listing out options for God but God had a better plan. If any of my plans had worked, I would have short-changed  myself. God had a better plan. One thing I know about God is that He is not a debtor to any man. God would usually do more than you can ever imagine. God will do ‘exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever ask or think’. The source of all life and wealth is Jesus!

Prayer: Father, I am deeply expectant of the multiplication that will come from the seeds I have sown and from the seeds You will lead me to sow, in Jesus Name.
