Rest!

Psalm 100:1-4 “Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving…”

The first of the three results from what Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah and Jerusalem did was a Resounding Victory. 2 Chronicles 20:22 “As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir 

who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.” (NIV, emphasis added). In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as you raise your voice to praise God and to thank Him, God will send ambushes against your enemies, and they will be totally defeated. The Lord will cause there to be a resounding victory in your favour, in the Name of Jesus. You should expect a Resounding Victory.

Secondly, you should expect Abundant Blessings. 2 Chronicles 20:25-26 “So Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder, and they found among them a great amount of equipment and clothing and also articles of value—more than they could take away. There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it. On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berakah, where they praised the Lord. This is why it is called the Valley of Berakah to this day.” (NIV). Who fought, and who is carrying plunder? That is how it is with God. God’s victory, our blessings. Jehoshaphat and his men went off to carry the plunder. It is not humility to say, “God we do not want to touch the plunder. We are good!” No! Go and carry the plunder. 

In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the blessings will be so much, that it will take you days and days to pack everything. Do you know what Berakah means? It means blessings in Hebrew. You are moving into abundant blessings in the Name of Jesus. You are going to enter into Berakah in the Name of Jesus, abundant blessing in the Name of Jesus. Do you want to live in the Valley of Berakah, of blessings? Then thank God in advance like the people did. 

The third thing that you should expect is Total Peace. Some of you have seen a lot of battles in your life. For the rest of your life, till you see Jesus, you are going to experience total peace in the Mighty Name of Jesus. That is the promise of God for you and me in the Name of Jesus. He said to me, “The battles you have seen are enough. From here henceforth you are going to experience total peace!” Do you receive it? I receive it in the Name of. 2 Chronicles 20:30 “And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side.” (NIV).

Prayer: Father, according to the Word of The Lord, my kingdom is at peace for my God has given me rest on every side, and so shall it be in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
