The Point

Acts 9:3-5 “As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.” (NIV).

There comes a time in every man’s life when an event, an encounter, an engagement, or something happens that marks The Turning Point in that life. Everyone who is great will tell you something happened

 at a particular time. And most times, they were not expecting it. Most times, the day looked like a normal day like today. I am sure when you woke up today, it probably looked like a normal day. But your life is going to change completely in the Mighty Name of Jesus. A turning point birth’s change.

Once you experience The Turning Point, it cannot be business as usual. If you experience a turning point financially, for instance, as you are going to this season, things cannot be the same. Maybe you used to see your creditors coming from one direction and you go in the other direction. But that will change. In fact, you will be the one to call them and give them their cheque because your turning point has come. Beginning today, we are going to look at four changes that happen at The Turning Point. Of course, there will be a lot more, but four changes you should expect in this season are Change In Direction, Change In Atmosphere, Change In Focus and Change In Situation.

Change In Direction: This is, if you will, the most obvious. When you talk about The Turning Point, usually you are going in one direction, and then you experience something that changes the course of your life completely. Saul of Tarsus, for example, was going in one direction to persecute the Church. Then he experienced Jesus and it changed the course of his life completely. You will experience Jesus this season. Moses was minding his business, tending sheep. He had an encounter, that changed the course of direction of his life completely. From tending sheep to birthing a nation. 

So, the first change that will happen to you is a change in direction. There are certain people who before today were headed for hell. But beginning today, your direction will change and you will be heading to heaven. For some, not only are they wallowing in lack, but they are also headed for perpetual generational poverty. That is going to change in your life today because you are going to change direction. Remember, your voice is like the key in the supernatural. 

Prayer: Father, because You have brought me to my turning point, let change be birthed in my direction, atmosphere, focus and situation, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
