Help & Guide

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.” (TPT)

Beginning today, we will look at six guarantees of God for your future. These next six words to live by will dramatically lower your fear factor. And it is because these promises will reveal who God is to you and reveal what He has said. Are you ready?

God’s first guarantee for your future is To GUIDE You When You Are Confused. God’s promises are His guarantees. The truth is, one thing you can predict about your future is that you are going to have a lot of decisions to make. Some decisions will be difficult, and some will be confusing. But guess what? God has promised to guide you through such difficult and confusing decisions. It can be decisions about your job or your business (businesses). Or a decision about relocating or not relocating, and what city to go to. Everybody is relocating; should I go, or should I stay put? God will guide you. Do not move if God has not sent or told you to move. Should I buy this house or not? Should I move houses or not? Should I marry this person or not? These are difficult decisions, but God has promised to guide you, and He will guide you.

Proverbs 3:5-6Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the Lord in everything you do, and he will show you the right way.” (GNT, emphasis added). Trust in who? Did the Bible say trust in yourself, your bank account, your friends, social media, or news channels with all your heart? Nope. It says trust in the Lord with all your heart. This is so comforting. God is saying that if you trust Him with all your heart, you do not rely on what you think you know, and in all your ways remember Him, that He will show you the right path. Can you do that? These are words to live by and to anchor your life and future on.

God’s second guarantee for your future is To Help You When You Are Tempted. There is good news and there is not so good news. Let’s start with the not-so-good news which is that as long as you are on earth and in this flesh, you are never going to outgrow temptation. It is never going to happen. So, what is the good news? The good news is once you connect to Jesus and follow Jesus, you will get stronger and stronger. And you will be able to overcome temptation and overcome it over and over again. While you may not be able to avoid or outgrow temptation, you will always be able to overcome it. So it is and shall be. Amen!

Prayer: Father, as You have promised, guide me, and help me always, in Jesus Name. Amen!
